Hey everyone, due to popular demand for more information about my last post, I decided to add another post on the Satellite software that I use as an alternative to FTA (Free to air).Like I mentioned in my last post (be sure to read it if you haven’t yet) I tried finding a low cost solution to the lack of FTA programming since I don’t like spending money if I don’t have to. I’m sure most of you are the same way.

Don’t make the mistakes I did. I basically went around buying into memberships and websites that promised quality TV, but reality is it just was not worth it. I finally purchased the Satellite TV Software which has been working great and like I’ve mentioned it’s been working for me for the last 3 months with no issues at all. When you purchase the software for the small one time fee (less then a month’s worth of cable or satellite), you won’t ever have to pay any fees to watch local channels, your favourite sports, movies, newscasts and the list goes on.

Is it safe to buy? The answer to this is yes, I wouldn’t be recommending my blog readers to purchase software or visit a site that isn’t safe. You have the FTA Online Canada’s seal of approval on this software GET IT TODAY!

Ok, so you’ve bought the Satellite Software, you’re watching TV on your computer, but now you want to watch it on your television since it’s much larger. Again no problem, you might have to verify with your computer manual to find out what kind of video card is in your computer. You will need a video card that has the correct output (I will post a how-to video soon). If you don’t have the proper outputs on your current video card, (most computers nowadays have this capability) the correct one can be purchased relatively cheap at your local computer store.

Are you now ready to watch these channels on your computer and even your TV unit, Are you ready to sit back, relax and start enjoying the your new found TV channels?

The Sonicview SV-360 Elite Dual Tuner PVR Free-To-Air satellite receiver has been long awaited. With this receiver is you can watch one channel while recording another, even if they are on different satellites and different transponders, weather you are watching one channel while recording another, or if you wish to record two different programs at the same time. The SV-360 Elite lets you pause and rewind live TV, you will enjoy the SV-360’s true picture-in-picture, zoom support, and quick one second channel changes

The previous dual tuner receivers would allow you to view one channel while another is recording, but the disadvantage is that you could only do so when both channels were set to the same transponder.

One of the features that I especially like with the SV-360 Elite would be its flexible and unique 3-port USB 2.0 configuration, one handy USB port in the front and two USB ports on the receiver’s rear panel. It allows you to be able to connect an external USB hard drive to record satellite TV, and you can connect a second USB device for MP3 playback. While you still have your third USB port in the front for bin updates. This Unit is supporting 64MB of DDR SDRAM and 4MB of flash memory; witch is considerably greater than most other FTA receivers out there.

The Sonicview SV-360 Elite Dual Tuner PVR I think is the best in its class and priced lower than most Dual Tuner PVR Recievers.
